I make art because i have to. i am driven by an internal imperative and a restlessness that is consumed with trying to convey the subtle energies and bodies of the ethereal world of dreams, of the spirit world, the disassociated places. When i am immersed in the worlds at the touch of my brush, i find peace and a serenity that is not easily attained elsewhere. in colliding these forces, and mixing them on my palette, it is my hope to transmute the lesser among them from dross into the pure spun gold that only comes from deep inner peace. sifting through the detritus of the human experience, and juxtaposing the stranger of the symbolic means i find there, i try and create windows into alternate dimensions, that invite respite and meditation, and will deliver sacred and subliminal blessings on deep reflection.
My Art is my bhakti, my service to my community. it is through the brush that i convey an invitation to journey into the sublime. my mission is to awaken the divine within each viewer! How am i doing with you?
